You got a bargain mini a few months back didn't you? I thought karma only comes once with (virtually) free minis?

righto...I am off to have a look-see at it :D

I can't wait!

It has been a country car it's whole life.

What are the chances that a very casual "I know a person selling a Mini" turns out to be an unmolested GT!

More info tonight.....

Hmm... how many people have gone to look "Cooper S"... to find a Deluxe or 850...

Lets hope you don't drive very far to find out it's JUST a Clubman. Heaven forbid it be a ROUNDIE!!!

^^ I love that GT there!

OK so I am back, and now the proud owner of 2 GT's. :D

I have just picked up a 1 owner GT. It's a 4/72 model in Camino Gold. It was resprayed in 1990 (same colour) but had a white roof added. It did have stripes originally, but the owners (an old-ish couple) couldn't find any new ones to replace them after the respray.

Not 1 spot of rust in it. Floors and boot are immaculate. Engine is an absolute ripper and was rebuilt 10 years ago, butonly done about 7000 kms. It has a Weber as the original SU's were sold off years ago apparently. That's a shame, but not a probem. It sounds awesome :D

Interior is close to immaculate but some bastard pinched the gearknob and boot badge years ago, so it has a standard Clubman knob and boot badge. It has contessas, not original GT rims, but I have 4 spare ones that might go on it.

Bodywork is amazing with only 1 tiny carpark ding on the drivers side rear.

I was so excited I forgot to take pics! Will do that later......

This GT is a keeper for sure, so once I rego it I will sadly have to sell my beloved and faithfull 'Pops Jnr.'
