Hey I found an old $20 note, stamp with the address from a previous owner, some old news papers from 86-91, some old candles and a hankie. That was in my 61 van. Oh and the original engilsh plate.

1 hr after I bought my minimatic last year, I found in the magazine holder in the back seat an A4 sized ad which the previous owner wrote: $6500 $neg (and blah blah) when I got it for $6800+. It is negotiated higher somehow, haha

The paper is faded out a bit from white to yellow and there are sticky tapes at the top and bottom of the ad which cannot stick anymore. I will keep it as a reminder of a few things that I should particular pay attention to when I get a mini next time.

In a very sad 997 cooper (no floor , no front or rear 1/4's and a lot of rust holding hands elsewhere , if it wasn't for the full alloy Bond Roll Bars cage it would have been a rusty stain on the grass) speedway mini I bought for the roll cage there were 7 packs of checkmaster condoms in the inside of the roof (no hood lining so it was a convenient shelf all the way around ...) .

I took out he back seat a while ago and found about $8 worth of gold n silver coins, a few fuses, a lighter and 3 hairpins. I found 2 more fuses under the driver seat and a very small roll of electrical tape behind the dash

In a 998 Cooper we bought the rear side pockets were full of NOS boxed parts from the 1960's and a few copies of late 1960's Cams newsletters still with their mailing wrappers.

I once found a small packet of Cocaine in an XD Falcon I bought that had been repossesed (in a hurry no doubt!).

Ben,
When I bought your MiniMatic a few years ago, (a year after the Glenorie bushfires)- apart from a burned LF tyre and scorched paint on the door, there was a very dead rat on the floor inside...
Don't worry, I gave it a decent burial.

Why did you have to specify unused? Did you find a used one, too?

Rattle in the drivers side door was an old sidchrome 1/2" socket, and one of the rattles behind the dash was a screwdriver. Apart from that there was nothing to be found apart from dodgy wiring....
