No, considerably less comfortable than an airline seat. They're obviously trying to make sure no-one ever travels that way again.

If you try to sleep on the floor the sleep Nazi comes and wakes you up because you might block an exit (even if you're the only one there). The sleep Nazi wakes everyone else up at the same time.

Hi,

The trailer is exactly 5m 10cm long. But if you figure in the tow bar on the car and trailer overlap about 10cm, 5m even is a fair call.

You've got a suitable tow car? The trailer weighs 400kg empty, so you're looking at around 1000-1100kg with a Mini on board. Not a problem for most tow cars.

Come and have a look on Sat arvo if you want. I'll be home doing the brakes on the Corona Coupe. Hoping to register it in the next couple of weeks. :D

Cheers,
Brett.

Thanks Brett,

I just hope the sleep nazis aren't the tape-measure nazis as well! :(

I had a crawl under the forrester and it's well clear in that capacity, although the draw bar weight is also important. What kind of trailer plug have you got fitted? I'll pick up an adaptor to suit the flat NSW plug I have.

Thanks for the help too!

Hi Mick,

It's got a 7pin round plug, but I already have a 7pin flat to 7in round adaptor you can borrow. :)

With a Mini on it you should not have an issue with draw bar weight. 120kg for a Forrester? Unless you have it well forward you won't exceed that. You want to aim for about 10% of the gross weight.

Cheers,

Thanks Brett. I appreciate it. I'll whack on a touristy Tasmania sticker of some sort as a trailer's souveneir of the visit too.

Pm sent.
