Even Hardy Spicers can open the yokes up if abused enough. I had to replace both mine because the PO thrashed it on the track and the joints had 1.5mm end float in the yokes... so shafts were going round in orbit. I had a `wheel balance'? problem that was inpossible to rectify until I changed the yokes. 8)

Long time no post but I've finally managed to get one side off .... Via steady even pressure with a puller followed by tap tap tap tap tap tap tap tap tap tap TAP TAP TAP F'ING TAP and it finally came off to reveal a super thick and even coating of licktite or similar ...... Now to get onto the other side .
