It seems that every time I run my tanks low, the car fluffs and misfires. This morning (with low fuel level) I was running on 3 cylinders all the way to work.

i'm not sure there is a connection with low fuel and fouling plugs. low fuel could cause a problem on the fuel delivery side of things if the fuel pump is marginally stuffed. ie when the tank is full, there is enough pressure feeding into the pump that it delivers full pressure and volume. but when the tank is low, there is not enough pressure on the inlet side of the pump. worth checking out i think.

but yes, just take it to be tuned. what is worse? being a bit late for work one day because you had to drop the car in to be serviced, or being late often because it keeps dying on you?

cheers
