I don't know aircraft, but I'm guessing given the subject of the article, that they are P51 Mustangs. One is a cesna minus it's nose cone.

Definately not a P51 Mustang. They ran an American version of the V12 Merlin built under licence from Rolls Royce.

That Warbird has a radial engine, more likely a Corsair or Grumman.

when Henry Draper brings his mini to tassie for targa etc. he brings it on a WB 1 tonner. That is a complete car ready to run so it is possible.

Henry Draper must have an extrended tray - my one tonner's tray is 220 cm - thats exactly the distance between the wheel centres on the mini and doesn't take into consideration overhang like the front and rear of the mini as well as bumper bars.

The weight is not a real issue at 650 odd kilos as we regularly cart 1000 plus lites of water with no real issues. It is a 308 tonner.

Why would you get it off? It looks so damm cool right up there!!

It probably tilts, by the look of those wheels, it's purpose built for mini trailering for I'd say there'd be a tilt mechanism in there or other wise, helicopter lift?
