Wouldn't the rain get it anyways no matter what I mean Mini's are notorious for water getting in.

Next time it rains, go stand outside and cover yourself with a set of slightly open venitian blinds, then cover yourself with flyscreen. You will be wet either way, but the degree will vary. I suspect in both cases you will look like a tool.

If I could find the venitians to do the test I'd take pics and post them.... either way I am a bit of a tool.

OK a nice ausmini member has pointed me to a vendor that sells a new grille for around $200, so that's probably the deal I'll go for.

I thought of something new!

5) mesh would be lighter than a grille? fully hectic bro!

Crap idea - digging out all the squashed grasshoppers etc after a country run would be a real PITA

Having said that; your car, your styles (as horrible as they may be).

That is all

The one that 1018cc made, is suprisingly nice. It would work as a temperary or just for fun really.

Every des (including me) the original style grille, what's wrong with something different, you see, the great thing about mini's is they are so customisable, make it YOUR mini not just A mini, ya get what I mean?

Having said that, I like my cooper grille but it's stainless steel and been through a fire  and won't polish up nicely again, but can't be bothered to fix it, more important things to spend money on.
