its just terrible man, but as i said to you on the phone, this is a lot bigger
than your car now, there is something going on.

I have suggested to Zack that he contacts Greg who got his red (my old) clubby
stolen from the front of his house in Enmore. Any other people with stolen minis please
contact Zack or myself, so that we can let allthe various police dealing with this realise that it is not just one mini getting stolen, but quite a few.

cheers
chris

I think we may need a register of stolen Mins and their descriptions.

This might be benificial in tracking them down, or identifying stolen parts that may end up on ebay or the like.

Could be a sticky on here.....

We've (the mods) discussed this a few times and are thinking of putting it as a locked sticky in spotted , basically a list of the cars numbers and identifying features plus some photo's . This is becoming too common at present .

The worst night sleep I had in a while was when we left the mini out the front.

I'm really sad to hear this Zack. I hope it turns up, one way or another. Good luck finding it.

I think its just disgusting that this sort of thing happens, and not only just to minis.

I hope who ever has been steeling the minis (whether one person or several) gets caught and has their backsides served to them.

Sorry to hear pal. It makes me cry when I hear of stolen cars. I hope it is found and in good shape still.
Perhaps we should put up a sticky on stolen cars, and engine numbers,- as there has been a few recently.
I hope it all goes well mate.

As soon as I read the subject line I though "Hope that's not Zack's LS he's talking about". I'm really sorry to hear about that mate - I definitely know how sentimental and attached you could get to your car. I would feel like I could murder the b*stards if I were you.

The laws in this country need to change to be similar to overseas country's. Some overseas country's put huge penalties on thieves who steal property but all they get here is a police force that don't really care because it's just an old car.

Hope it comes back in one piece.

I think the bastards who stole it (and the other Minis recently) need to pick up the soap while showering with Bubba in Goulburn jail!

Just unreal. So many got stolen. Feel very sorry for you man, hope the cops can do something.

MOD EDIT

I think all you can do now is pray and actively look urself, ask neighbours, etc. I used to have a neighbour opposite to my house and have video surv. at his gate, so you never know.

And another night at Chatswood at my paretns house, this person were lifting my cover for the Mini which I parked outside and he look in there and didn't know I was approaching cus I need to put those rubbish in those big bins. He smiled at me and said sorry but nice car. I should have taken notice of him cus it was 10:30pm at night.

But yea, take care and don't get too upset about it. I know it's hard though.

This is insane..i can't believe it.

So sorry to hear Zack this is a big problem - I personally don't think Ausmini helps. You can find so much info about our cars on here that is all provided on good will, but unfortunately we are not even safe on here :(

I think this is a big issue, these cars don't seem to be turning back up and this is obviously planned and large scale stuff in the inner city.

I really hope they turn up and find who is behind this :(

But I do believe it somebody amoungst us or a repairer that cuts copies of your keys and then flogs the cars for parts
