when i was there i got a smaple tag form aaron (cheers mate) i took it in the other day and got them to match it and low and behold one of my guys went ot pick it up and said yes a blind man would be happy with the match.
I took one look at it and said where is the gold they have forgot to put in the gold he said its perfect you cant see where he has sprayed the colour and it matches perfectly, i then proceeded to turn the sample over to show him the colour that is was supposed to be and the colour they matched it to, ooops that was a $70 mistake i wont do again.

so now i have some sickly horrible greenish bugger green that doesnt match what i wanted so i now have to spray the head and clutch cover again and get more paint made up.
a good ol paint code would be great cos thats all they seem to ask for here, beside i can buy English BL green off the shlf but the ozzy stuff a bit harder to get.

I just found the cleanest detachable bit on the engine and took it into an auto paint supplier to have colour matched. Fortunately they had a few requests for it and knew it was a BMC colour, unfortunately they didn't write the paint code on the tin.

These are the results of my efforts.
