yeh i did get stung.i wish i knew of this club site before i bought this car
as there are a lot of good cars for sale at a reasonable price.
on the way home from the dealer i ran out of brakes had to
use hand brake.found heaps of air in brake lines.
took mini for first rego, and found steering rack was worn.
took two days for me to fix with the help of your instructions (gafmo)
i changed car from positive to negative earth and found the coil had been
reversed previously ( this was the cause of a lot of electrical problems
with the car)
three months after purchase i had to change head gasket and radiator
hoses (my first experience with a mini radiator) :x
