I agree with Sox - sure it's illegal to zero or alter an odometer, but on a Mini, they shouldn't waste their time... My minis have always had dead odometers... People who are buying Minis shouldn't be wasting their time with the odometer, unless it's claimed that the car hasn't been round the clock and is priced accordingly...

Only if your'e selling a car & have the intention of engaging in deceptive & misleading conduct, IMO. Otherwise, a storm in a tea cup
