My clubman had that when I first got it. I thought it was gasket problems. I cleaned it up, checked the breathers, head and rocker gaskets and gave him a tune up for good measure plus it needed doing. Since then no creamy build up at all.

Worst comes to worst, possible head gasket, so change that and do a oil change and it should fix it up for you.

Good luck.

When I used Penrite my oil cap looked similar except the slime a bit greener. I fixed the breathers and almost all the problem went away. I now run KMX oil and there is no more slime.

Morrie are you using vented or non-vented filler cap?
Any idea which engine uses what :?
Cheers

Pete....early 850 had the steel vented cap with tie wire around the rocker cover filler neck (I have one - but needs repair).

Cooper S and Morris 1100S (both had Smiths PCV valve) used a vented cap with a filter, their rocker cover was sealed.
Most others with various breather setups had a sealed cap, many had a 1/16" restrictor hole into the rocker cover to let air IN.

I run a vented cap and Smiths PCV valve on the 1360, a sealed cap and breather piped to the twin SU vacuum ports on the 1293. No mayo problem in either. 8)
