Weee, that looks neat! Love the idea of it, but could only import it into NZ if it meets the frontal impact test requirement. Retro and kinda ugly but way cool...

[quote="13secmini"]was just looking for info on that car when i stumbled on this site :

http://members.at.infoseek.co.jp/japane ... index.html

It looks like some japan exporter, there are a couple of minis, starlets etc and one of these:1991 Nissan figaro [quote]

I was glad I was on broardband when I looked at that page.

Brad

That thing looks like the Diahatsu Copen, I love it, WOuld look great on the road with the roof down. I'm sure that Honda spoken about did exist or something very similar sort of looked just like a mini, and sort of didnt if you know what I mean.

Its a Nissan figaro, they were only built in 1991 i think, around 20 000 made. All 1 litre turbos, 3 speed auto. Have seen some with 5 speed manual conversion and bigger turbo, got 80hp stock, have seen 130hp on modified ones.

Quick question.. .are those prices just the Auction price, or landed in Oz ?

I know you'd still need to compliance them, but that Mk2 Jag is nice.......
Great price for that condition too !

Lots of Mini styling similarities here...in 1958!

PS that grill could come from a British Mini!

Then there is the story/myth of the N-Cooper. Honda N-360 grafted with Mini panels and didn't look half bad.......but did it ever exist? :?
