hehehehe... I've never driven a hydro Mini. I'm happy with dry so don't see a need to try something new.

you can swap the doors from a deluxe or sommit onto an 850

Very true, my car has had exactly that done, and an Aussie boot lid, but still has full front valance 8) . Changing of the doors was probably a popular mod to do. But the door catchs on the b-pillar are different, which isn't a big deal, the doors don't shut as nice, but it is an obvious indicator of having sliding windows originally.

I've just never heard of '65 850. And DeLuxe's had hydro, but the Mini minor did not. Anyways, it isn't a big deal, but jsut something to think about.

Remember though, if you have a genuine 850, PM sports850 to have it added to the surviving 850s register, the list is big, but needs to get bigger! :D

Sounds like i'll be under the car this weekend checking out the front cones, guess i'll be looking at fitting some hi-los new shocks and some cones.

Yeah i'm a bit curious on the date myself. I guessed they changed the doors, i was told it was a 65, but the wiper motor says 67.
I'll check out the body number and PM sports850 if it is.

Thanks for the help everyone :D

Hey 64cooper, if your refering to the car in the pics at the top of the page, that's not a Morris 850, Morris 850s have "Type" YMA2S1.

I think I mentioned it in one of my previous posts, there is a difference between an "850" and a Mini with an 850 motor. That is a Morris Mini Minor, which replaced the Morris 850. Basically it's a Morris 850, but with wind doors as standard.
