I highly reccomend getting a 1/2" ratchet spanner, i got a kingcrome one for $20 a few weeks ago and its made easy work of many things on the mini that used to be very difficult with a normal spanner or socket.

The Kingcrome one is much smaller and easy for small spots, apposed to the cheap ones which were very chunky.

Not one person has spelt Kincrome right in this thread

I'm not impressed with Blu-Point their ratchet spanners are crap.

A 3/8dr kit with uni-joint and wobble bar is about the best thing you can get for a mini.

That and as said above a 1/2" ratchet spanner.

I have a supatool 1/2" socket & combination spanner set, very good quality.

I found one of the best investments i made was a sidchrome 1/4" socket set. Not the combined 1/4" & 3/8" drive, as it has a larger ratchet. This little 1/4" beauty fits in all sorts of tight places, has hex sockets (better grip on the small nuts) and is nearly indestructable, with a lifetime warranty! Gotta love chrome vanadium steel!!
