Dr M and Smokie - personally I am glad for anyone who missed it. You didn't need the experience.

Setting its leg - it was broken

Actually it was a vet - Ian Hobson from Southport - who got conscripted who set the leg. I just helped.

Mike, don't you/we just hate looking at those old photos and seeing how young and good looking you/we were and then to see what you/we look like now...

Age is soooo unfair..

Nice Midget!

This wierd because I drove my dad's Mini to work today and I went about the back on a break and saw midgets and sprites everywhere including a beautiful one parked next to me!

Turns out the Sprite club was booked in for lunch, I had a good chat with one of the owners afterwards when I was leaving. And yes, Spridget owners love Mini's too, just as we love their cars!

I almost bought one a few months ago, but someone else offered the guy more money. :(

It was an Austin Healey Mk2 Sprite, with Midget running gear9 1275, discs etc.), toyota 5 speed gearbox, 45 weber, 'sebring' fibreglass front, and sooo much more needed some work but it was soo good.... Bugger.

I can't work on the engines unless I'm standing on the drivers side of the car for some reason
