Greg @ Mathews is being extremely helpful. Unfortunately, the Continental Contisport2's are no more, from what I understand. I asked Greg just then and he said they don't do them, and that they were the first people he rang. So they're out.

The Continental Australian importer's will deny they make them in that size - but i'm pretty sure they still make ContiSport Contact2

I followed that link and clicked the 'Sizes' button, which showed the largest size to be a 15"? Is that just because it's the Australian website? I don't know how I'd go about getting a set, in that case. I'd be looking at international import with freight and all that, which is way more bucks than I have to spare.

Yea, i posted that to show they still sell that model of tire.

they are available in a 175/50R13 in europe - just need to try and convince them to order them in on the next shipment as all the tyres come from the same place in a container here.

they will be hard to get a hold of.

what price did mathews come back with on the SIME?

Mathews are top blokes and go out of their way to find something for you and they are competitive on price. It's just a fact that there really isn't much choice for us and what you need to do is look at what is available overseas and then prove that it's made overseas and they will be more willing to try and getting it in for you on a special order if possible.
