Hi All,
On Sunday I went to the anual All British Day here in Brisbane at Tennerson with the intention of displaying my Cooper S. On arrival I was asked for $15 entry fee for the privalage, keeping in mind that this was not a fee to enter a competition but a fee to display a car.
The same organisers then charge others a fee to come and look at the displayed cars. Talk about two bites at the cherry!
Why should I pay a fee to display my car, which has cost me a small fortune, only to have someone else charge others to look and proffit from it?
I was so outraged that I turned around and went home.
1. Is this happening in the southern states?
2. Do others feel the same?
Looking forward to hearing your thoughts on this one Guys,
Dave

Thats disgusting. Usually in the UK we have free passes and free stands. Without the cars to see who is going to come. Yes they make excuses about cost of land and set up fees why don,t they come clean and say we are here to fleece ya.
The only thing i see wrong at UK shows is the price of eating and drinkng. Its the biggest rip off ever.
