(if i'm not mistaken, wouldn't that act as a double boost?)

Ummm I think you are mistaking. How double boost? It would only have one turbo. Your normal Vtec's are naturally aspirated motors, but they have funky camshaft technology in which the switch from a road cam to a hot cam, I think. Something along those lines at least. Either way, there is no double boost that's for sure.

thats kinda what i meant slink, the vtec originally and the turbo, so kinda like a double boost. doesnt the vtec part kick in about 5500-6000 rpm?,so that plus the turbo.

no, it's nothing to do with a double boost... VTEC isn't forced induction...

there are plenty of VTEC turbos around, dunno about any in minis, but the new ones in USA (gomini or whatever) are supercharged.

a king cab is a longer cab so you can put the seat further back - standard mini utes don't have much seat travel so you're stuffed if you're any taller than 5' 10"

the rear of vans slope forward at an angle (maybe 5 degrees), when they're cut down to a ute, the slope looks silly

Ahh mate you should have put this up amonth earlier

our local scrap metal got an 850 van in that somebody had done a very poor job at turning it into a ute (didnt bother sealing back of cabin just had bit of cloth), but it would have been perfect for what your after.

Its been trashed now - they chucked it around with theer big machinery

but dont trash a god van or traveller

why not be different and do it to a sedan???

I've seen a sedean choped down into a ute and it actually looked realy good  It was my panelbeater who did it, he moved the c pillars forwards to where the b pillar is and used the standard rear glass 8) and kept the bum all round. Jump on photo shop and play around...you may like it.

unlikely, but I'll try and get a photo from him and post it
