best to get EVERYTHING out of the engine bay - drop the subframe from underneath and take out the master cylinders, loom, wiper motor, brake & clutch lines, hydro lines, everything that can be unbolted....

if you want an A1 job, they've gotta be able to prepare it and paint it properly without things getting in the way.

If I was having a body painted, I'd deliver it absolutely stripped - and as a painter, I'd expect everything to be delvered that way as well
