Jamie,

You'll have to make sure the hydraulics (seals, bleeding etc) are spot on before you can look at the adjustment, otherwise your'e wasting your time :wink:

Yeah, if you can pump the clutch pedal and it improves, it probably indicates there is still some air in the clutch. Fix that first.

As for the dizzy, if you can get it to run smoothly then I would suggest setting the timing accurately with a strobe light. I recently put a Mini back together, obviously got my static timing wrong so I retarded the timing until it ran. Seemed to run fine so I left it there. But it went a whole lot quicker when I bothered to time it properly - turned out to be at about 25* at 1000rpm. Strange it didn't ping its little nut off.
