cheers im aware of codes need light blue pictures to match my cooper s as i want to paint it original color. Morris1100 site shows color swatches but they dont look the same on computer screens.MY cars 1967 which comes up[ jay blue] on most sites but you can't get idea with such a small sample. I'd really love to see a picture of a mini in JAY BLUE...
Sorry but this website will only help with English colours that were subsequently used in Australian production and that's not many (and probably different anyway)
The best thing is to find the colour code and hope that your paint supplier has the original mix proportions. I have had success with Galsurit being able to correctly identify and mix colours that were original Australian production shades (e.g. Lake green, Snow white. Silver Birch etc)
When it comes to MK1 blues they may be able to help. It is almost impossible to pick the correct hue when using a CRT computer screen - better to get samples from original cars from areas that have been untouched by time and accident damage e.g. behing trim, inside doors etc.
For a rough idea of the blue colour used in Australian production, here are some adjusted colour charts
I have 2 coopers in blue one shadow blue and Platinum , the other dusk blue/white
