I'm not getting any younger, Scott!

As far as Bendigo is concerned, my knees gave up after I'd covered less than half of the area, so I pulled the pin and came home.

Mini items I spotted were, a bonnet, a boot lid, a set of 3 into 1 extractors and pipe ($100), a speedo (90mph, very manky) and a complete Clubman on a trailer, with rusty A pilars and an inflated asking price. I didn't consider any of the items to be in top condition, or attractively priced, to me at least. That's not to say there wasn't more Mini stuff there, just that this was all I noticed.

The mythical $50 set of Cooper S disc Brakes failed to catch my eye!

In my opinion, it was just too big to be able to cover it comfortably.

Cheers, Pottsy.

PS, I'm not sure that any swap meets are "Mini related" as such. The presence of Mini bits seems to be incidental to the real purpose of the day, swapping bits of vintage cars & bikes, hotrods and collectibles.

Well I picked up a Newton headlining kit and cooper front and rear badges for my 997 Cooper, plus some key rings!

Thanks Pottsy, good summary. I used the term 'Mini-related' to see if members knew of any particular Swap Meets that are worth attending versus those that usually have no Mini presence. I acquired some S wheels recently that the seller had bought at the Sandown Meet. Unfortunately I couldn't make it to Sandown when the last one took place a month or so ago but there's another next weekend.

Well it was a great day, absolutely huge in area. I got there at 9am and walked non stop until 4pm when I had to get going and had only just made it to the end. Luckily they have a few large under cover pavillions because at one stage it absolutely bucketed down which was a relief from the heat and dust. Every where you turned was packed full of things to look at. Having said that, as Pottsy said, I saw very little in the way of mini items, no more than the few things he saw. I still thought it was great and have pencilled it in for next year.

Sunday was crap. Early showers meant a lot of people were packed up and gone by midday. First swap that I've been to where I didn't buy anything (except food and drink). And I was looking for Gemini stuff (for a mate), Toyota stuff and Mini stuff.

Cheers,
