that was on the phone after 2 previous bookings as they wanted signatures and then addresses with those signatures got stupid. i just had a chat with dad i forgot my car actually had a full mini k make over from the previous owner including a boot with badges an engine and speedo with wiring that explains it

I wouldn't worry about it too much, it's still a Mini.

My "Deluxe" is in the same boat as yours me thinks. It's got all the Deluxe bits, including the 998 engine and gearbox but is in a 1970 shell, as for the wipers well I think they might have mix and matched as they don't work. Well the motor works but the wipers don't go anywhere.
