if i get hilos can i adjust height enough so i can use tyres without rubbing ?

they're likely to rub at the front, and they'll probably rub at the back too... I remember Josh (minimad) put 165/70 12"s on his clubman and had to grind away part of the radius arm at the back

they'll also screw with your gearing and the speedo read slow, and unless you've got a lot of grunt, they'll make your car sluggish

i got josh's wheels now, had to cut 10mm out of the section that surrounds the wheel on the gaurd ive hit a speed bump hard and it didn't scrape,

prob is now i also need to raise the car too (blueslip), im sitting about 80mm from the ground, lowest part is the sump, how quick have people swapped their car to HI-LOs

You've got my old wheels but with 165/60R12's...these 165/70R12's are ALOT bigger and really impractical. Mine were semi slicks and were good but if they are just normal tires it's not worth it.

My car looked like a tonka truck and was raised maybe 3inches.. Also had to grind the radius arms and they are just plain friggin huge! we're talking inches over a 13" wheel+tire combo.. 560mm is the diameter i think.
