When I migrated to Australia I swore I will never return there. But being born and bred there the curiosity always wins. I was 27 when I left Malta. I go back as often as the dollars allow me because I still have a brother and some uncles and cousins there. Malta is a great place for holiday especially in the European summer. We still own a flat there which is very handy to have so it is cheaper for us to visit. We do let the flat out to Aussie frineds going to Malta every now and then. I don't think that the hospitality that the Maltese people offer is found any where else in the world. They all speak English of some sort or level and are always willing to help. They all think that Malta is It and are all proud of their country. It is true that every person in Malta has relatives in Australia. I recon that if all the Maltese people in Australia all go back to Malta at the same time the Island will sink, a few inches at least. Besides the Old cars that still fill the streets there they have great heritage and history. I am looking forward to my next visit which will probably be next year. VIVA Malta
