Yes, and Cass and your plans for world baby domination are gone too.
For now at least.

Nah, it was probably my rover thread.
It's already claimed the life of a VY wagon and the Brickworx truck.

I managed to POR15 the seams and adjacents on Mini HaHa. Now I have something other than rust to put the new bog onto. :P

I'm terribly sorry to hear that Mick, I hope all is better now though?
They're bad enough when they're short.

Well, i didn't get anything extra done while the site was down, just kept doing google searches trying to uncover any developments on the site.

Many thanks to Terry on the moke forum for putting up with us!

After the wounds heal from scratching my eyes out from Ausmini withdrawal i might just get back to work. I am sure the boss will be very excited to see me doing anything other then trawling through google results!

Congrats Mick! Where's teh baby details?

While Ausmini was down I:

- Found a dodgy wheel bearing and a stripped bolt on the Moke and managed to ignore both.
- Tried 12 rims with 145 tyres on the Moke.
- Found out the 145 tyres slide real well. :)
- Decided the skinny 145 tyres look crap under the wide Moke guards and went back to the 185's on 13" rims.
- Fixed the air con in the Corona Coupe to satisfy the missus.
- Went to Hanging Rock in the Corona Coupe.
- Killed the Corona's head gasket on the way home.
- Started planning 18RG swap for Corona Coupe.
- Dreamed of a paddle shift conversion on the Moke using a stepper motor.
- Decided I know crap-all about stepper motors and electronics.
- Avoided the mother-in-law who is visting.
- Spent lots more time on eBay, moke.com.au and toymods.

That's about it!

What I managed to do while ausmini was down...

Break exhaust.
Remove the entire throttle body.
Fix exhaust.
Dyno the Mini.
Get a leak in the vacuum hose.
Repair hose.
Get another leak in the vacuum hose.
Replace the entire damn hose.
Clean the car.
Survive an entire cruise without any car dramas.

Engineers 2moro.
Blue slip Monday.
Rego Monday arvo.

First off I decided not to bother Poeee as I thought he'd be getting loads of others doing it anyways!

With lots of help, tutoring and advice from David Rosenthal, I finished deseaming my Starlet project 'shell, repaired all the rust in the passenger side inner and outer A panel, removed the inner and out a panel from the drivers side about to be cut and shut and a new exterior a panel to be made.

Also I learnt a valuable lesson, deseaming a Mini is not nearly as hard as people make it out to be. In fact it's easier than A-panel replacement! And there are some good tricks to put the stuffness back into the panel by effectively welding a seam on the inside of the panel.

So learnt to weld, but as they say practice, practice, practice! And a then roof to fix!

Ausmini should fail more often! :P
