yeah, the rack is new, buts its more the back seems twitchy.

Will get some cheap shocks fitted soon and see if that cures it.

thanks guys for your advice

and yes if you watch the mighty Falcons win this weekend, if you see the warm up you will see them swerve at low speed to warm their tyres up. Thats what I ment

May be worth checking the rear trailing arm pivot bearings for movement.... I had one of these wear/fail in my mini many years ago.... made for 3 wheel steering with major changes between power on / power off as it got worse with time .... the seals had let in water and grease out....

And check the rear wheel alignment, they normally have 1/16" toe in, but if it's hit something and has toe-out it'll be twitchy. Fun on the track but can be heart stopping on the road. :shock:
