I just went out to the shed and looked through my old collection of slot car bodies and came up with this....

Now I know you are all thinking "What sort of car is that?" It really is a Mini. :roll:
It is a 1/32 scale body that I hardly used, now to see if it will clean up!

If this does not work I might have to take a plaster mould off a Scalectrix Mini Clubman.

i too tried a smaller version but diddnt turn out so good...ive got a 10.00 mini rc about 6 inchs long..might try that too.
ohhh yes the reason i put the chocolate on the inside is if i diddnt you wouldnt get the detail of the car....and the out side would be ruff as guts....
pm me if anyone trys there own idear....would love to see others..
would love to know who bourght the mini matchbox pop off mini plastice shell too.
was on ebay not so long ago....went for some stupid price too.....was a plastic version so you could use this just like ive done???
anyone one on ausmin have it????

The boy is always trying to get hi sticky mits onto my mini, maybe this a good solution. Except it adds to the sticky mit situation...

I'd be sick for a year with that much chocolate to get through.

They look great, top idea. What about starting with milk chocolate, then do white chocolate, then finish off with dark chocolate.mmmmmmmmm yummy!

cant see why not ....glad i got you all thinking....look forward to seeing what you all come up with....next idear will be to cover the shell with cooking foil and fiberglass resin ....to try to get a semi hard metal tin...so i can bake a cake???just an idear....

I've tried fibreglass resin in a polycarb body before:
The two bond together, and the shell was destroyed when they were separated.
