A good option is to try and pick up an older race suit that no longer meets current CAMS regulations. You can oftern buy a good fireproof suit fairly cheap second hand and it will be alot safer than just cotton clothes. Check out the specials racks at Revolution etc cause sometimes they have bargains!

Make sure you get a GOOD helmet. Remember your head is only a few inches from solid steel!
