Unlike rubber ones they are not really a `live' (ie. compressed) bush when assembled.
The grade of lurethane used doesn't flex real well. If you try hard, they crack and split.
So on most applications they are a bit looser, and greased.

One prob with the red Nolathane steady bar ones is they are loose on the bush, and there is a gap between them when assembled. Boostedmini put some spacer washers between his which he said helped.
I like rubber (with a remote box)- don't really need lurethane ones there. :wink:

use rubber ones, if they only last 10 years i am sure that is good value for money and they work well. less noise and less vibration tranferred. I replaced the ones on putt putt after 26 years, i didn't actually need to but i thought it best. I will also be going back to rubber ones on the van too.
