Is soda blasting a gernie type system? If so can only the roof be done without effecting the rest of the car? And how much would i expect to pay?

Also a great believer in soda blasting but have reservations regarding paint adhesion. Are there any issues ?. If so what prep is needed
At Bendigo there was a sodablaster proudly showing off a stripped car that had weathered for 11 days . Says to me there is something on the surface

Sodablasting is done the same way as sandblasting using soda insted of garnet as media. For areas you dont want touched like rubbers, chrome etc.you mask it with tape and its not affected.
The guy i use charges me buy the hour.around $100 compred to other methods in a workshop situation is better, wages materials etc.
After blasting, you refinish the same as usual,
deoxidine
etch primer
primer surfacer
colour.

Hypotheticly if the soda blasting gets done and Shock no rust is found. What approx would be the cost to simply paint the body? I am thinking of getting my S redone as the paint is getting a bit worn now and a few marks. 2 pack still the best?
