Here I was thinking that you never really cared..... :lol:

Seriously, if someone knows how to fix this issue once and for all, can I suggest that you put together a short plan of how you would address it and PM it to Mick? 8)

OK, so I need to ask some questions here.

Where is Ausmini.com hosted? Who's Server is it? What OS is being used (by that I mean specifics).

This will be easy to fix, but it may involve a bit of time. I'm happy to help out, as best I can remotely.

Maybe Poee needs to PM me.....

Dicko.

Code:
$ host www.ausmini.com
ww.ausmini.com is an alias for ausmini.com.
ausmini.com has address 202.191.61.27

Code:
$ whois 202.191.61.27
inetnum:      202.191.60.0 - 202.191.63.255
descr:        MD Web Hosting Pty Ltd

Code:
$ telnet www.ausmini.com 80
Trying 202.191.61.27...
Connected to ausmini.com.
Escape character is '^]'.
HEAD / HTTP/1.0

HTTP/1.1 200 OK
Date: Mon, 02 Jun 2008 11:14:49 GMT
[b]Server: Apache/2.2.8 (Unix) mod_ssl/2.2.8 OpenSSL/0.9.7a mod_bwlimited/1.4[/b]

I don't know what version phpBB Scott's running, but it's obviously an old one as there are lots of phpBB's out there which have been patched for this vulnerability.

I expect that unless there are any gotcha's specific to Ausmini of which I'm not aware, the fix will be a very simple upgrade of the phpBB code, but again without knowing which revision is currently in place it's hard to quantify.

Hey, the Yanks got to the moon with 64K of RAM...
If you believe... :wink:

BTW, my 1st PC was an IBMJX.. it had a whole 512K of RAM but it was mostly on an expansion card and had to be addressed as expanded memory. But hey, it taught me a bit..... :lol:
<edit> no HDD, it had 2x 720K floppys and a 360K (5-1/4") 8)
