Is that a galvanised body? I realise there is rust in the side boxes however, but it looks a little shiny in places without paint..

Galvanized bodies weren't all that crash hot and do rust. Won't know much more until I can see it in person and look for numbers etc.

Galvanised Mokes were not galvanised, at least not in the usual meaning of the term- as in `hot dip galvanised'.
They were just welded up out of zinc coated sheet, similar to the zincseal which we can buy today.
I bought a whole 8'x 4' x1.5mm sheet to fix my `79... :wink:
