Just as a matter of interest, how far out should the bolt be for a 'just worn in' clutch?

How long is a piece of string?

In an ideal world with everything in new and perfic condition, the bolt would be fully wound in with the locking nut almost touching the head of the stop bolt. Then as things naturally wear over time the bolt is adjusted outwards as required.

About half an inch but there is a proper sequence to set it up
