I think it depends whether the seats fold or tip forward enough to allow rear access.
If you are talking 2 Cobra Monacos or similar fixed racing buckets they won't, I think ideally they should be engineered. Or Mr Plod can ping you. :lol:
Having said that, I had a Cobra Trophy (similar to Monaco) on a fixed bracket for years, never had a problem at rego time. :wink:
I'm now running 2 Cobra Vintage/Classic lowbacks on Cobra frames, they are out of a Jap Rover and no, I won't bother engineering them. They tip forward fine.

how would you go about converting a mini into a two seater (i hate passengers anyways)

i mean how do you register it? does it have to have a new compliance plate saying "seat cap:2" ?

Yes by rights, you get a mod plate reducing the seating capacity to 2.
