Even though it's new the battery could have a dead cell, try charging the battery & see if it starts it then. If you have a 3 gauge dash cluster why do you need a "monster tacho"???

Doogie

Cause it's "Fully sic bro", why don't you old people understand!

Maybe your right Scotty, as far as im concerned a tacho in a mini should have Smiths written on it.

i have a 3cluster i had a wire i think the coil wire off the tacho every thing else normal no fues blown nothing now when i turn the lights on only the speedo light goes on and the right blinker light doesnt flash just stays on and the blinkers dont work when i push the horn it sounds like it wants to work but just doesnt have the power it sounds like a flat battery but its brand new. when i had a flat battery a few weeks ago i only got the clicking noise the dash didnt go funny like it did tonight ill give it a boost at work tomorrow but would i have dun any damage or blown something? oh and as for the alt its on its way out i no that the alt light comes on when sitting there give it a rev and goes out so mayb when driving it it hasnt been chargeing it.
So the alternator is on the way out and you fit a monster tacho. Good work.
