Thank you for the Waggot chart. Now I know that I had a 235 Waggot (731 equivalent) in my old Black 850. I found the old ticket giving its specs. Best $20 I ever spent, thank you to the old guy at Lynx at Croydon who asked me when picking up my engine: "Do you want a cam, we have this one that another fellow did not want."
In a worked 1100 it went very well.
Pity I sold it and it ended in Sims Heaven.
Never mind, years later another 850 with 850 flat top pistons is just taking shape.

Okay, I know it won't be fast, but it will be an 850. even if it isn't painted the correct Sunset Red. :?

a point to be remembered here is that Police Commands in certain regions might have started with Police Pack cars but it didn't end there...I am absolutely sure that certain Commands asked local BMC Dealers/Tuners to breathe on their pursuit cars

I remember getting my Cooper Dynoed at Brookvale about 73 or 74 and the guy who ran the dyno said he used to tune Minis for the Hornsby Police and they were really worked over, supposedly with engine rebuilds required every 3-4000 miles. He said nothing could get away from them on the old Pacific Highway.
