Graham in aus will be the one to tell you what the cooper's should have had etc and I'd say he'd be interested in the details off their ID plates for his register . I'm interested in the 850's details and watto will most likely be interested in the S's details .

Im interested in the 997. But depends on how ridiculous the bidding gets. Im not 100% on whats correct for them though. Windup windows shouldnt be i think. So i wonder how genuine the rest is. Really need to determine the details on the plate/body/motor.

just my thoughts, but the S looks dodgy to me, lots of MK2 features, and not a lot of MK1 features other than the engine and heater

MK2 features are alternator, brake booster, clutch MC, indicator stalk, speedo cowling...

has a dodgy boot liner, the carpet looks original, but doesn't have the heel pad on the inner guard, front seats have been recovered.... would need some measurements, but I reckon the bood badge is in the wrong spot

if anyone looks, be critical

I don't know, sounds a bit sus to me. Not knowing much about the cars, getting a 3rd party to store them and handle them. dare I say it ?? Where have all the minis gone that were being borrowed from down south? I Hope this is not the case, but this not his 5th or 6th minis that the bloke is selling?? who has that many Cooper and Cooper Ss

I will organise to go and see them on Saturday hopefully so I will get loads of photo's for the interested parties, I am interested in the 850 and 997, although that totally depends on price.

Check out www.baileyana.com.au/morris which is for the 997 advertised a few years ago. My work surf control is blocking this link for me so I cant be sure that it is still valid. From memory the 997 was at Cootamundra and $7500 was the price. Maybe somebody around Wagga may know of it. I remember it having the windups which is incorrect.
