My Vote is for Turbo A-Series..

Dont you have to cut the bulkead/firewall out for a turbo? Other then fitting the thing on top of the clutch assy? How will it perform un-intercooled? Im trying to avoid cutting/bashing and general dickin around in the engine bay. The Link kit fits without any of the above mentioned problems.

The Elf owner got a good deal. Cause with the ones in stock incl GST it will be about $5800.

Probably not Nick if he really does have a small pee pee, as we rightly assume.

No most certainly not - just need to get a competent fabricator to make a suitable manifold depending on power can fit behind motor, over the clutch, high mount it over near the radiator or wherever you please to fit it. in-intercooled it will perform as good as the supercharger i would say with plenty of room to go for much better figures if you sneak an intercooler in there somewhere. Pete will chime in with his result from hi pre-intercooled setup.

Benjamin's original (before pristic's) turbo kit fitted a T2 in behind the motor, with no bulkhead box. :D
It made 102.8HP ATW (from 1152cc) at MRC dyno day, LAST year.
If you ask him nice, he might do you one...

The turbo in the ute is ball bearing turbo and has oil/water lines to it. What do the old setups use? This is done as a blow through setup? Kinda need to re-educate myself into the old skool turbo/carb'd setups.

This is a blow-through using Metro turbo carby, has oil lines, not sure about water, I'm an N/A man.
PM Benjamin.

Same turbo's are used as modern cars, depending on turbo water and oil fed, blow through setup on a metro turbo carb.

I wonder how it would go with no intercooler but run a water/meth injection kit on it? Bloody problem up here is tuning the thing... We only have 4 shops with a dyno and none of them know what an S.U. even looks like.....

So what are the suggested turbo's to use? Dosnt need to compete with my GT35/40. My 1330 revs to 7 comfortably, what will give me a decent power band and good spread of torque?

I think better gains can be had from a turbo A series, but in a kit form there isn't much out there.
If you can get Ben to build you one, go for it. His little beast is awesome!

As you probably know, bleed valves are a bit iffy, go the EBC. And as MiniMad said, if fabricated right, you could probably fit an intercooler as well.
If not, I have heard these boys have a few good set ups:

As far as tuning goes, you must have one old school workshop up there, surely. They don't necessarily have to have a dyno...
