It is much safer my way.
The limits are lower, so when you crash you are going much slower.

When I was playing with Production cars we were running a Commodore on Falken tyres at Bathurst. Falken flew out a Korean tyre engineer to keep an eye on what the tyres were doing. The tyres were rubbish but we had a contract and the tyres were free.
The engineer could not speak english and we could not speak anything but gibberish so communications were a little strained.
So we just used the word "Falken" a lot. We may not have been pronouncing it quite right......
So the Falken driver got into the Falken car and found that the Falken Falken tyres had very little Falken grip. We tried adjusting the Falken camber to stop the Falken outside edge of the Falken tyres from Falken chunking to Falken bits but it didn't Falken work .....

Hi guys, I am thinking of changing my contessa wheels currently 5x10 to 6x10 with Dunlop Forulma R Tyres. If anyone is running 6x10s have you have any problems with the police, in regards to the rear tyes sticking out a little?? Also how do you find the tyres? I want lots of grip because the ones I have are ^&%$$ lol

Cheers Andre

I run 6 x 10 minators and reverted to 1/2 in spacered moke drums, yo look a bit more legal and have acheived a great look, and ran leyland flares, check out the scud missile on members gallery , there is also a pic on there of 5 x 10s with Falken 165s, Dunlop Rs $$$$ too soft, wear quick, same as A0008s. The Falken i beleive are made in Malaysia and ar a good all rounder. I would reccomend to anyone

My experiences with Falkens in the wet have been all bad. But I guess a case of (1) you get what you pay for (2) Inspector Harry Callaghan- opinions are like ar$eholes.....

I cannot wait for my current set of Falkens to wear out so I can go buy some Yoko A008's. The Falkens are shite in every way except looks, which is not exactly what you want in a tyre

Apparently there is a new Falken 12" tyre in the works, no joy yet for us 10" purists though.
