Oz Cooper perhaps as well, as there wasn't any hydro prior to the release of the Cooper S and the floors were plain.

But the Oz Cooper didn't have hydro, this would mean that this car has had the hydro added :!:

Sorry I never noticed it was hydro...so if it's real it's post September 64 (parnell)

UK coopers didn't have the hydro channels. It was an Oz adaption for Oz road conditions. A good image of the UK cooper S floor pans can be seen in Parnell on page 16 (topside) and 40 (underside). Drip rails pics would help here as well I guess to confirm it's country of origin.

Hi Guys,
I reckon this is a UK built 998 Cooper with Aussie doors. There are many things Cooper about it and I would be very surpised if it wasn't. Boot board brackets, Almond Green, correct remote gearchange fittings etc ........... and the correct ashtray!!!!!!!!!!!!\

Dammit Kiwis, when are you going to accept the innevitable and become a state of Australia? We could have a subsidised ferry service to Shabang-a-bang, and get rid of the import GST!

NZ used to be part of Oz, it was a part of NSW, same as Lord Howe Island is today.
UnZud got their freedom around 1831....

Did you know that Western Australia actually had a referendum to withdraw itself from the Commonwealth of Australia. (They were also late coming into the federation) And the vote succeeded!
I can't find out why they are still a part of Australia. I wonder what ever happened to the story? :?

There's a good wiki page on this I was looking at while avoiding real work the other day...watch the gif image (at the top right of the page) of the break up of Australia from discovery to federation till today...it's interesting... http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Australian_states

Probably realised it would take too long to dig a north -south ditch along the border and fill with water to keep every body out.

We have lodged a proposal but it has become a little bogged down. We required that, as part of the deed, Mr Helen Clark would be the prime minister of the federation, and he/she would have to move to Canberra. We are very enthusuiastic about this proposed unification as we will have access to a huge sheep flock, Australia having many more than we do. We have required equal access to the sheep (but not at the same time) and we are now waiting to hear. So, are you prepared to share?

Except for those damn Queenslanders who are still worried about the extra hour of sunlight fading their curtains and putting the cow's off their milk ....

I reckon we could share.
