Yeah it was on a navy base over in the west. The clown who owned it bought it as a pretty nice little car from what I was told. He kinda went off the rails a little and got kicked out of the navy.
The last week or so before he left he took the car out for a fang and demolished the front of the car on a number of items.
He left the navy and simply abandoned the car there. The wheels walked off as did the stereo (maybe he took them with him, I don't know) and it slowly filled up with maccas wrappers and redbacks. For Cleanup Australia Day I wandered over with a few captive able seaman and we cleaned up the mini instead.
I got in contact with him, made him an offer he couldn't refuse and skull dragged the car off the base
You can see some scribbles in the dust over the mini, the local live-ins wanted it gone. It was in prime parking real estate.
