i bought a pressure pot sandblaster to do my moke, cost me $240, i got garnet for $50 a bag, 2 bags. and set up a blast booth in my shed. im in the process now of doing it, i attatched some pics. sorry about the quality, for some reason all the photos i take end up blurred, even when i focus it. (anyone else get that problem from a nokia n73)

I agree with Mick, pay someone to strip your shell for you. Its probably the thing that has "slowed" the progress of my resto the most as its so time consuming and its not always the most fun. Think it took me a day or 2 (and a maybe an angle grinder or 2) just to strip the inside of my shell.

By the time you factor in the number of wire wheels you have to buy, the trip to the doctors/hospital to get the embeded wire removed, the time to do it, the number of times you piss of your neighbours with the noise I just think its not worth it...

If you get your shell dipped or blasted try to get them to spray an epoxy primer on it as it lasts longer and gives better protection than an etch
