I can not say that No Mini Auto Van was ever made In Australia, But I can say that They were not sold in commercial Qty's. It is Possible that one or two may have been Produced.

Are you putting in a later model Rover auto engine or a earlier model auto box?

I don`t believe te factory offered auto vans as std issue, but i also know that the factory was happy to accomodate almost any special order, one of which was the sporting wheel association with regards to "After sales" fittment/modification of Automatic power unit into the vans to support them & their wheel chairs,,, once the autos were fitted we did some conversions for the brake lever attached to the steering column with pivot & push rod down to the brake pedal & a motobike style twist grip & cable on the end of it for throttle... so i spose they could be classes as factory fitment really :-)

Hey guys, I just picked up a roundnose panelvan today and cant seem too get the passengers door open. Was there a lock put on the passengers door? theres no key cylinder in the actual handle itself so I think it might be seized. And can you get New floor pans for panel vans.? I'm only new too minis and dont know anyone where i live who has an interest in them.
Cheers Bunyip.

Passenger Side door has a button on the inside of the door that you push down or pull up, Inline with the outer door handle, Floors for vans, You can use sedan floors for this, At the moment there are no proper australian type floors avail, The diff in The australian floors to that of the UK type started in 1967
