i think the fact that theyve reduced the size of the rear window (or windows now as they are) has changed the proportions of the rear and is why it looks a little odd. i have to admit tho, the view straight on from the rear with both doors open looks deadly. i also love the fold down rear seat

The fold down seat & interior finish it off perfectly.
It's unique and a beautiful piece of work.

I agree, but some will whinge "oooooh it's not standard".
IMO there are enough `standard' Minis in the world already, haha.

That friends, is a shit-load of work.

And they've carried it off nicely - a very unique vehicle that looks bloody awesome!!

Good work, and good on them.

Cheers,
Tricky

great looking mini for sure, maybe if he painted the gap between the windows on the back black it would make it look like one window.
It is brilliant tho.

Looks like a very professional (all classic Mini) outfit.

IMO a traditonal hatchback (Radford style) is nicer. Like Mini Van doors this would impede rear view vision (one reason I ditched mine in favour of a one piece and which, incidentally, also makes the rear look wider).

But yes, as a new take on an old trick, it is very innovative and very well executed.

A beam rear end with the fuel tank under the floor. I wonder if they lost much rigidity in the shell, or if it was okay.

A Range Rover style split tailgate would have been interesting and possibly more aesthetically pleasing (I'm less keen on the Radford one-piece design), but who am I kidding - it's all way beyond my talent and budget.

Interestingly:

I'm off to buy a lotto ticket.

Yeah it looked good till the back dorrs are shut,,, i`m not a fan of the split rear window with the white paint,,, but still definately very worthy quality fabrication work & something different too,,, & looks way more 'User Friendly" too :-)

cross between a traveller/countryman & a sedan :-)

I like it but would prefer a lift up hatch in one piece like one of the Beatles (George Harrison?) had done back in the 60's
