Don't listen to them. You should fit an old style points dizzy. There are no electronics to fail on you in the middle of nowhere.

It just so happens that I do have a points dizzy that I could be persuaded to sell for the right price.... :mrgreen:

Keep asking questions...it's the only way we learn that doesn't cost us money, blood, sweat or tears....

The last three generally come with doing your own maintenance and getting it wrong...and then the first kicks in when you have to pay someone to fix it

I'm a bit upset now, :cry: people are laughing at me, :cry: maybe I need to swallow my pride and pay them a visit, in person, and appologise for being so dumb, once they get to meet me, they might be a little bit more understanding and get to realise that I am really a nice guy... :twisted: :twisted:

I find it really hard to accept that people can try and upset you with the things they say, :evil: I am really thin skinned :oops: and can have my feelings hurt really easily, I suppose I have lead a really sheltered life and people don't usually say things to upset me.
