Yeah, another reason I didn't mind taking it off. I haven't had a problem with the locktabs before, but coupled with a damaged keyway and the possibility of loosening off, I figured it's only a second to remove it on the floor, but about 2 hours if I put it in the car...

Sorry for delay . Price to broach keyway aprox $25 . It takes about 5 mins to do . All you need is an imperial broach and fittings and some shims and a press
If you are really keen Hare and Forbes have both imperial and metric broaches but they are not cheap -about $400 ea from memory but at least you get a kit that will do all sizes and last you a life time, So if you do a lot of pulleys......
