Thanks Michael (and everyone else). Quick question on your Roh's. My '66 has these, but in a gold tone with lots of pitting, etc. Did yours come silver or did you remove the gold from them somehow? I'd like to salvage these, but not sure I can?

Location: North of the Harbour planning my next mini project
My ROH wheels were originally painted RED and I used paint stripper to clean up. The rims were then polished with fine wet and dry and finally with autosol and elbow grease. I did mount the rims onto a car with the front jacked and put into 1st gear at idle, this was much quicker method to polish the rims. Just need to be sure the car is stable on stands and the wheel rim has the tyres and valve stems removed.
I finally masked up the rim and painted the centre with "wheel silver" from a spray can.
Just be aware there are a few different "wheel silver" colours and I tryed a few before I found the shade I wanted. Some are a bit too "chromey" and dont wear very well.
