hey mate any luck with your problem?.. it sounds like what im going thru now

Well guys shes finally fixed. I gave up, I had tried everything that I could do. Well that I sorta knew how to do. In the end up to the reliable mini mechanic around the corner. Within 8 hours he had it all up and running. Turns out the wrong needle had been in the carby all along (im guessing about 3 years) the dashpot was sticking, and the coil was SHAGGED! He also mentioned how I have absolutly no suspension left in the front and just gave me a funny look when my response was "yeah i know... its pimped" and told me he put new engine steady bushes in as well. Its amazing, the car actually goes better than it ever has and the bushes obviously stopped what I thought was just standard clutch shudder. Anyhow, thankyou to all who commented, I appreciate your advice and learnt a lot.

try another coil or condenser, it may be breaking down under load :wink:

My problem was soley the coil!, i replaced that and now im pulling 4th gear up them hills again!

strange as it only happend late 3rd and 4th gear.. gave my brain a workout

clubbies wont rev because they are ugly
